Is there a mattress that you can control the temperature?

With the temperature autopilot, the Pod adjusts the sleep temperature to your individual patterns, encouraging the flow of each sleep cycle to maximize recovery. The temperature on each side of the bed can range from 55°F to 110°F. The mattress is designed with a pocket coil system that promotes constant airflow and helps the mattress maintain a comfortable temperature. Choosing a mattress is a difficult decision because there are a lot of variables to consider, especially when looking for a mattress that cools.

While foam mattresses tend to sleep hotter than other types of mattresses, some brands integrate cooling components into their beds to reduce heat retention. That said, the best cooling mattresses are usually hybrid and latex models, as foam mattresses are more likely to retain heat. Finding a cooling mattress may be your top priority, but you'll also want to consider other mattress features when shopping. To measure pressure relief, we place a pressure pad between the gauge and the surface of the mattress, allowing you to read how much pressure the mattress is exerting against the gauge body.

The quality of materials, construction methods and additional features of specific models will determine the quality of a particular mattress for you. The materials used in mattresses can influence how (or poorly) a mattress regulates temperature. Only BedJet doesn't change the feel of the mattress, as it has no hard covers, mattress covers, cables or water pipes to sleep on. Keep in mind that the term “inflatable bed” is an extended-use mattress and does not refer to inflatable mattresses that are temporarily used for camping or traveling.

The type of mattress is important in determining how warm a mattress will be, but it's not the only thing to consider. If your mattress sleeps too hot, but you're not willing to buy a new one, you can freshen up the bed by buying a cooling mattress cover or changing it to a more breathable one. If you're sleeping warm on your mattress but aren't ready to change it, a mattress topper may temporarily help. From the standard mattresses on today's market, which use a large number of modern materials, such as latex, memory foam or phase-changing material, to the most modern smart beds that exist, mattresses look very different from what they did 50 or 100 years ago.
